Sandra Neis
I have been practicing yoga for about 20 years. I completed my 200 hour yoga teacher certification in 2020, and my 300 hour certification in 2021, and my 500 hour certification in 2023. I completed Yin teacher training in both 2022 and 2023, the latter with Bernie Clark in Vancouver. I continue to take classes and training sessions with senior teachers from around the world. My classes run at the John Turgeon Community Hall in the Summer Village of Sundance Beach. and in Thorsby at the Arctic Spa Recreation Center. I began my teaching with Yoga Within in Edmonton both on line and in person. I love the community that develops around the common ground of this yoga practice. The warmth, humour and relationships keep me going.

And this is Annie…
Annie is a well known character at Sundance Beach. She is a 12 year old Australian Terrier with lots of personality. She’s made many friends, both human and canine, at the lake. When I started classes in our yard at the cabin, she often joined in - trying to get attention from as many people as possible! If you meet us at the beach or walking on Lakeshore Drive she would love it if you stopped to say hello - and so would I!
